Wasn't perfect yesterday, ate too much in the evening, but weight still came down. Main thing to keep an eye on is eating too many of my calories early, telling myself "Oh, I'll just eat a tiny dinner," but that rarely actually works, and then I end up snacking late. Be better at spreading calories out over the day.

Sign in to CommentYeah, I use MFP and FitBit (MFP tracks the calories and FitBit lets me know how many I'm burning and my correct deficit). That said, it only works if you work it, and I've been pretty slack. Also, you're totally right about the *kind* of calories. I spent 240 on a nonfat chai yesterday (!!!) which really isn't filling at all. Lesson learned, next coffee-stop stop (it was an all-day date so we stopped for Starbucks a couple of times) I got a big plain tea.Totally gotta get better about tracking and about how I spend those calories! Less than 3 weeks to go! But I'm not going to stress if I don't make this goal, as long as I get close and can be on track for the next one . . .
Yup, yup. I try to save at least 500 calories for dinner. If dinner ends up being light, I can ALWAYS find something extra to treat myself with (wine, chocolate, chips) but I rarely want to exercise if it's the other way around.
Are you tracking your calories? The type of calorie makes a big difference too!
