It really helps me to log everything I eat. Most women who eat less than 1200 calories a day and men who eat less than 1500 calories a day go into starvation mode and have a very difficult time losing weight. I know it sounds crazy, but when I increased my caloric intake, my weight loss went from about 0.1-0.2 pounds per week to about 1-1.5 pound per week -- and I was eating more.
