I had two weigh ins this week. Round three for a transformer and round one for another one. I weighed in and was verified for the first one, and technically made the weight for the second one as well. However, the first day of that weigh in window was teh day I had surgery. Looking back, if I had tried to submit something that day, they might have asked to use a recently verified weight, as it was only the night before. But so much was going on that day, I didn't even think about it. The next morning I stepped on the scale and had gained 6.5 pounds! What the what?
The day of my surgery, I wasn't able to eat anything that morning. After surgery and recovery, we came home and I had a banana before taking a nap. That night, I had very little for supper as it's hard to swallow. It's just hard for me to believe that in less than two days I could gain so much without having eaten!
That's the first transformer round I've lost and it stinks. Once I get out of the haze, I'm going to get started walking again. I don't want to funk up my neck brace, though, so will have to figure something out for that. I have to wear it for four weeks.
Surgery went well and I feel pretty good except for being really tired. But I've got plenty of time to finish my summer term online class. Sweet!
