Busy week.
40 hr work week, full-time school schedule, and 2 exams this week. Tues and Wed night.
Also, dog-sitting for 10 days as of last Fri- so my schedule is full.
I ran 3 miles Sat (before this started), 4.56 miles Sunday (before this started), and ran 4.02 miles Mon morning and 3.23 miles Mon night. 7.25 miles total Mon (the day this started).
Unfortunately, my FitBit was dead Sun through Mon afternoon w/o access to a charger. I used Runkeeper instead.
I felt bad at the beginning of the Mon night run-stomach was extremely upset, but it faded away. My knees too.
Today my calves feel tight. I think it should be good though, soon. I stretched them out a little after the run and followed each w/ a hot shower on Mon.
I am feeling anxious because I have to cram for the Wed exam, but I think I can manage to workout still tonight (Tues).
I am ready to get back in shape. I will have a birthday in 2 weeks and family photos in 2.5 weeks, so I want those photos to look stunning and svelte.
I also have a beach vacation to look forward to in December, so this will help me jump-start back into making strategic choices.
I was feeling pretty good about myself beginning of Aug, but after that vacation I was off-track. I let it happen and it was purposeful. The vacation itself I didn't gain weight really (at least not more than 2 lbs in days w/o exercising), but when I returned, I had a mental break from it all. It was kinda weird logic, but I had decided I needed to let myself go a little so I would feel motivated to get trimmer. I was having trouble being with the idea of being where I want to be.
Well, I am back and motivated because of some of the above reasons, and two, I am just done w/ feeling sloppy for the past 1.5 months. This is me, and this is a lifestyle. Even with a full schedule. My health matters and feeling confident goes so far.
