Last week I participated in a Strength Challenge at my local kettle bell gym.
I did barbell deadlifts and hangs and kettle bell snatches.
For the past 15 years, I've been a long distance run/walker. I've completed over 50 marathons, one 50 miler and countless half marathons.
I'm switching my obsession from racing to lifting heavy things.
The next Strength Challenge is April 23, 2016. The challenge is on my 59th birthday.
