I’m writing this partly to convince myself….

I choose to eat a vegan diet to try to lose weight because I have health issue and found controlling my weight with exercise was not a viable option, so I must drastically change how I eat.

I have been “good” and stuck to my vegan diet, but yesterday, with this yucky sickness I have, I caved….

I drank hot chocolate (3 cups over the course of the day), then since I was already not eating vegan, when my son’s pizza delivery arrived I allowed myself one bread stick, which was followed by one piece of pizza. Not bad, but lumped together adds-up.

I panicked when I got the email reminder that today is the last day to submit a token weigh-in.  I fear my splurge will show on the scale and I’m so disappointed I let my desire win out.  I was sick and weak.

Ok, refocus—IT IS A NEW DAY!  I’m back at work today and brought my breakfast and lunch I prepared on the weekend.  IT IS OK!! Now, it is time to get back to vegan eating. 

I just booked an anniversary weekend getaway Beach House Inn and found an award winning vegan restaurant right up the road for my hotel. Ravens Resturant
