Maybe you didn't make this weigh-in. Maybe you're not quite on track to "win" your diet bet, so you think, "Why bother?" Just remember that every calorie counts. When you come out of your feelings of defeat and decide to recommit to weight loss (and at some point you surely will), it will matter. Did you gain 10 pounds? 20? 50? Or did you maintain your weight loss? Every calorie, every pound, will need to be worked off eventually, if you want to be slimmer and healthier. So just because you blew your diet by eating a piece of pie, does not mean you need to eat the whole pie. Stop at one piece, minimize the damage, get back on that horse. Because every calorie counts.
