How you doin??? (Wendy Williams's voice - LOL!!!) I've really missed you guys!!! I hope you're still doing your thang & DROPPING THOSE POUNDS LIKE THEY'RE HOT!!! :-)
As you all know, I went on my cruise. I had a good time, but I wanted to have a great time. I went to a couple of shows and ate breakfast and dinner with my friends, but for the most part, I was in my bed in my cabin. I couldn't do but so much because I've been suffering with severe lower back pain from the time I left for my trip til now. I enjoyed spending time with my friends, but I couldn't get off on any ports of call because I was just in too much pain. It's all good though. I'm still glad I went. :-)
I've been really going through it though. I had to get a wheelchair to/from NY and to get on and off the ship (on return to Miami). I was in so much pain by the time I got back to NY that all I could do was lie in bed. I sat on a metal bench across from the terminal while I waited for everybody in my group, and that was the biggest mistake I made. By the time we got to Delta's terminal, I could barely walk, and the pain was written all over my face. My eyes were filled with tears, and at that point, I almost regretted taking the trip. I literally felt like I was gonna die!!! When I got home, I just didn't have the strength to talk to anybody nor did I want to go online. Please forgive me for staying away and not touching base with you guys after I returned. I just didn't have the strength nor the energy to talk about what I was going through.
After my family hadn't heard from me for a couple of days, I gave in and talked to them. My niece called and persuaded me to come to SC to be with them because Sunday will be 4 years since my sister's homegoing, and we're having a big memorial party to celebrate her life tomorrow night. :-)
Although I'm still in a lot of pain, I'm sooo happy to be with them. They hate seeing me in pain, but they're happy I'm here with them too. My 4-year old great nephew walked on my back, and my niece rubbed Voltaren cream on my back and gave me a massage too. I'M FEELING THE LOVE!!! :-)
I know I've missed out on a lot since I've been gone, but I'll have to try to play catch up after I get home. My family won't like it one bit at all if I'm on my computer for a long period of time, so I'm just gonna follow up when I get home. Please know that I'm always thinking of you guys, and I really miss you all!!! :-)
