I'm becoming increasingly aware that I'm not really "hungry" every time my stomach grumbles or just because it's break time.  Unfortunately I'm one of those that has always eaten when bored/sad/happy/etc.  I've made a conscious effort to stop that type of behavior.  I always have water with me, so I will drink that first then see if I really am still hungry.  At work I don't keep any snacks at my desk like I used to and I don't keep any change in my pocket to be able to hit the vending machine.  I pack snacks and stick to what I packed.  I just really noticed today that I haven't needed those snacks as much and I feel fuller at lunch - sometimes not eating all that I have brought.  All of this is a great thing for me....I'm down 23lbs as of today since Jan 1st!  I'm just excited to know I'm changing old habits and it's helping me to lose the weight.  Sheesh, it only took me 47yrs.......
