Morning weigh-in: 164.2

Goal weight: 155

So after stellar success with my last dietbet... I managed to climb back up. Still not as high as I was before my last bet, but much higher than I would have liked. So here we go again. 

The fun part... the husband is joining in the fun this time! This will be his first go at it, and I'm excited to shed the pounds with him. We already woke up early this morning to take a 30 min walk, so good start so far. I'll probably get on my elliptical for a bit, and also do some core or arms work. We'll see what I'm feelnig like a bit later. I may instead take a really long walk to the park later... 

We weighed in last night, mostly because I forgot that we wouldn't be able to this morning. We were a little bummed about that - everyone is always a little heavier at the end of the day than they are right when they wake up in the morning, and I would have liked my official goal weight to be a little lower - same with him. But that just means we'll have to work extra hard to surpass our Dietbet goals to our actual goals. Mine is to get down to 155 :) 

My Mexican Birthday Adventure is at the end of next month, and I'm determined to look (and more importantly, feel) amazing. Went to the market yesterday and picked up a ton of produce. Have a healthy menu planned for the week, and will be working out at least 5 days every day. I'm also going to log my calories throughout, just as an added assurance.

Food today will be light - coffee, hard-boiled egg, V8 juice for breakfast. A veggie burger and extra veggies with a bit of avocado for lunch. Haven't decided on dinner - either chicken salad on spinach or ratatouille. I've got almonds and smoothies for snacks. And lots of water and tea! I REALLY need to get back to logging my water. For serious. 

I've lost the extra baggage before, and I'm serious about doing so now. Good luck to all of you!!
