Last night, my family invited me to a dinner at Ray's in Kent (it was a bar - with bar foods!). They all ordered hamburgers & fries, and for appetizers they had onion rings and fried mac and cheese (yes you read that right!). I politely declined the apps, drank 3 16oz waters with lemon, and ordered a chicken wrap with no cheese or sauce, and a side of steamed veggies. It was DE-LISH! I never felt deprived or sad about not partaking in the fried foods. At my meeting a few weeks ago, a lifetime member (John) told me to write my weight loss number on a piece of paper and keep it in my pocket when I go out. The entire time I was at Ray's, I felt strength from the 41.8 written on a tiny peice of paper in my pocket. I feel empowered.
