Something I really hate (?) just has to do with the normal fluctuations of weight - depending on the time of day, when you weigh yourself is going to hugely change your weight. My initial weigh in, since I just joined and I saw the post in the evening, was after I'd had a huge lunch, AND it's shark week, so this morning (when I've also slept in and not yet had lunch!) my weigh in said I lost SIX POUNDS.
SIX. Which is ridiculous, but then again when I went to weigh myself last night I spent more time than I should have staring at the scale and thinking that it must be wrong, because there was no way that I'd gained that much weight that quickly (like 5lb in two weeks!)
So it's good that I'm back down to a normalish place to lose - I'm hoping to lose 4% from where I am -now- - which puts me at 292.3. I've got some milestone rewards (!) which I'm actually really excited about. :)
- 1% from now (301.4) - Ordering a new sports bra
- 2% from now (298.4) - reload $15 onto my Starbucks card
- 3% from now (295.3) - Captain America socks that I saw at Payless!
- 4% from now (292.3) - Order a 25lb kettlebell (!)
- 5% from now (289.2) - Take a day off of work to go to the park (long shot goal!)
- 6% from now (286.2) - New fitbit wireless sync dongle (SUPER long shot goal!)
I have some additional goals which I don't even have rewards for - namely, I have a fitbit, and I'm hoping that I get another 120 miles in, in the next 28 days! I'm currently at ??? because apparently my fitbit just shut itself off yesterday, but I'm going to reset it again today and figure all THAT out.
Which reminds me - off to shower and get rollin, because my fitbit charger is in the car, and I just need to get all that sorted out. Until tomorrow!
