Morning weigh-in: 159.8
Goal weight: 155
So I went down a teeny tiny bit since yesterday. We also figured out that our scale isn't broken - we just didn't realize that we needed to zero it every time we use it because we store it upright. That would explain why it readjusts after getting on and off it several times. But now that we know *how* to zero it, the process will be much more efficient. lol. The best news: we don't have to buy a new scale! haha. Silly us.
Yesterday was a bit of a lazy day. It was gloomy and I was sore from the run the previous day. I'm sad to admit that I did no workouts. But it's all good. Everyone needs a rest day from time to time. Today I'll be starting back up en force. We were a bit too tired to take our walk this morning, but I'll be hopping on the elliptical for quite some time today and I think I'm going to do a pushup challenge - x number of pushups every hour, on the hour. We'll see how many I can do the first time around before setting an amount. haha.
My eating yesterday wasn't too terrible. Around 1,300 calories. I was ravenous all day... which I guess ends up happening when you start working out, but was frustrating nonetheless. Breakfast and lunch were more of the same. At dinner we cleared the rest of the chicken salad, and I ate mine with half a raw red pepper, half an avocado, and some steamed yellow squash.
I had some serious salt cravings later in the evening, and we don't really have much in the way of snacks for that particular reason. I found some pickles in the fridge and dipped them in ranch. lol. Not the best, but still better than a whole bag of potato chips. I have a serious love for ranch dressing. I *almost* made these broccoli tots, but it just seemed like too much work at that moment. It probably would have ended up being more calories anyway. Hit my water intake goal.
Today needs to be a high productivity day, so I'm going to do my best to stay focused. My body has felt immensely better since starting this challenge, but my focus on work has been nonexistent... But that has to change for today, at least.
Hope you are all having success with your own progress!
