Morning weigh-in: 158.8

Goal weight: 155

The scale didn't move from yesterday, but I'm okay with that. I started to struggle a bit with my eating, and ate 1,688 calories yesterday... so I expected to maintain or increase, despite hopping on my elliptical for an hour. It wasn't a vigorous hour, but at least I did something beyond my 30 min walk with the husband in the morning.

My workouts from the start of this challenge haven't really been crazy, I have to admit. There have been a couple high-intensity ones (a 3.5 mile run, doing a bit of P90x3). But for the most part I've just been walking or getting on the elliptical. To be honest, I'm actually a little worried to do too much building because I know I bulk up (particularly in the legs) and I know I'll get both frustrated with the number on the scale and the fit of my pants. But I should be doing some toning, and I should definitely be getting more legit cardio. More activity overall is fantastic of course, but I could be (and should be) working harder, particularly if I'm going to push past the plateau.

That being said, I am getting slimmer. They say that losing weight is 80% diet, and thankfully that is working in my favor.

Today I'm leaving my elliptical out, and I'm going to plan an hourly challenge - 5 minutes on the elliptical, 25 pushups, 25 crunches, 25 fire hydrants (on each side), 3 times up and down the stairs. Every hour on the hour. About 10 min total, but it'll add up over the course of the day for sure. And it'll get my heart rate up periodically, which is good considering I usually sit in front of my computer for 10 hours at a time. lol. Working from home is a blessing and a curse.

I'm going to try and keep my calorie intake under/at 1,300 and my water intake above 100oz again - two days in a row I was able to do that! Super proud about that.

I just got a group text reminding me that we've only got 1 month til Mexico!! If that's not motivation, I don't know what is :)

Hope you all have a great day!
