Morning weigh-in: 157.6

Goal weight: 155

Now that's a number I haven't seen in a long, long while! Feels good to see more progress. I definitely worked hard for it yesterday. Usual meals - dinner was *rough* because the only thing in the world I wanted was tacos. But I ate my salad and tried to convince myself that the accompanying Mexican tortilla soup was just as good (it wasn't, but it wasn't bad, either). My total calorie intake for the day was 1,282. My total calories burned was 2,391. 

I was surprised I didn't hit 2,500 burned... I had my 30 min walk in the morning, did 4 sets of mini workouts throughout the day (cumulative 20 min elliptical, 100 pushups, 100 crunches, 100 fire hydrants, 12 times up and down the stairs), and then did Kenpo in the evening (45 min). I feel like with all that activity I should be seeing many more calories, but I guess as I'm getting more in shape I'm expending less while working out. I don't know how that works, but I do know that I am sore AF today. My shoulders took a beating between all those pushups and punches.

Thursday mornings I have my networking meeting, so I didn't get in my A.M. walk. I'm hoping to get in a workout at some point today, but we'll see. I have a networking event tonight and a ton of work to get done. Maybe after I get home... 

Breakfast was an egg and egg white scrambled with broccoli and some shredded cheddar cheese. Lunch will be my usual veggie burger with some asparagus.

There are going to be appetizers, desserts, and drinks at this event. Sigh. I'm probably going to use at least one of my drink tickets - maybe a glass of white wine. The girl I'm going with is on an even stricter diet than me... and won't be partaking of anything. I'm going to try and channel her willpower... but also keep it light the rest of the day so I have a little wiggle room. And if I splurge at the event I'll make myself get on the elliptical to cancel out the calories when I get home. lol.
