I did not do so well following my 9 week project plans this week.  I did not weigh today but I know I am not going to make the round 2 goal for this game. Last week I still had to lose 3 lbs and weigh-out is tomorrow or Tuesday. There's no way i'm going to make the goal.

I want to admit right here and now that when I get on the scale tomorrow and it shows that I have gained weight this week or at least that I did not make my goal it will NOT be because of water weight, a commonly used reason. It is because I ate too much and because I did not exercise.

I also want to own up to my failure on this round. I know well meaning people will say I'm still a winner because I did lose some weight. Well no, techinically I'm not a winner if I did not make the goal. If I were a winner I'd be receiving some of the pot for this round and that is not going to happen. Yes, I can still win the final game but for this round I am not a winner.  It's time to own up to it, correct where I failed this month and move on.  There is always next month.

Here is the actual progress on my goals last week:

1. Carry this project through to completion  - I haven't given up yet so that's good.
2. Eat 1410 calories a day - didn't happen
3. Exercise for 20 minutes 3 days a week - I exercised once
4. I will post a blog a minimum of one time a week to report my progress. - I am doing that now
5. Take synthroid, confiance, multi-vitamin and vitamin D on a daily basis. - i did that
6. Be in bed with the lights and the Kindle off by 10:30 PM - I did that until Friday and then Friday and Saturday nights I was up until midnight just because I chose to be.
7. 12 cups of water a day - I did not do that.
8. follow food pyramid recommendations - I did not do that.
