I never expected it to be easy, I never expected to look thin afterwards. Yet, I was still surprised when it was all said and done, how hard it was to recognize myself in the mirror. I am beyond elated by the beautiful little bundle of joy I get to hold everyday, and that alone is a miracle. I just need to keep in mind that I am making this change for her. I want to be healthy so I can be with her as long as possible, so that when I come home from work I have the energy to play with her, and so I can look in the mirror and be proud of accomplishing my goals. I want my little girl to look up to me and this is my first step to achieving that goal!
