Glad to see you're back! I've thought about you a few times and hoped you were doing well. You were one of the biggest motivators for me when I started back on track a couple months ago and now I am half way to my goal! Wonderful to have my kick-ass fellow dietbetter back in the game. Thanks for the post I love podcasts and am gonna check out that TAL episode for sure. TAL isn't one of my go toes but I have enjoyed it for sure. Probably my fave is Radio lab. Have you listened to that one? Anyway nice to see you! Happy dieting!

I listen to Snap Judgment, too! I would have lost my mind ages ago without my podcasts. :) I think your plan sounds safe for you. I'm wary of the gimmicky diets, too, though a series of documentaries and audiobooks I've consumed have started bringing me cautiously aboard the anti-carb train. I mean, I will NEVER give up carbs completely, but I do understand why they're so bad now. (Ironically, a study was published within the last week that shows pasta makes you lose weight. I know nothing about it beyond that, but I'm sure it's a fluke.) Anyway, continued good luck to you! I'm making a point of trying to stick around here more. :)

Yep I'm with you on the carb thing too! I have seriously limited carbs for sure. I have this one low carb, sprouted grain bread that I like and having one slice of it toasted and buttered seems decadent to me. Yet it is healthy so I feel like if I ever say that I can't have any of that then I have crossed the line into unsustainable land. I'm so glad you're back. Let me know if I find any more podcasts that are great.
