New month.  New gusto.  All the promises I made to myself to get back to me and my health priorities for September after summer holidays.

 Started with good intentions.  Distracted by lots of company,  planning a surprise 50th wedding Anniversary,  more company,  house sitting.  A week into September and it looks like more of a Mardi Gras festival.  Road trip today for a big design consultation and wings at the pub for my dad's birthday at the end of it.

I have not lost sight of my goals. Still making the best plans I can.  Morning run.  Plans to eat on track at pub. Skinny muffin to go for lunch maybe...

Life is going to happen.  We manage to maintain or do very good damage control when we keep our focus.  We loose weight when we Refocus or efforts.  Perhaps not the fastest weight loss approach,  but very real world. Also very lasting weight loss. September first week is gone,  and it was pretty crazy week.  Still got great walks and hikes in.  Now things are setting down.  Regroup.  Focus again on your September goals.  No need to wait for a Monday,  a new month,  or a sign.  Refocus now and often.  Mid day,  mid week,  mid stride, mid meal.  

The better and quicker you get at putting your self back on track the better you will get at weight loss and maintaining.  So Focus and Refocus often! It is not too late to join us at Fitness Warriors if you haven't yet!
