Oh baby the weekend Vegas trip was a T R I P!!!!
I had so many debates in my head that it puts this political season to shame. Eat it, you deserve it, no I'm not going to have regrets....Walk more, no I'm tired, I've done enough.....You look good, no you don't--look at all the you need to lose still...and on and on.
I did work my plan and I did have one indulgent non-vegan meal of my childhood favorite White Castle sliders, because we only can have frozen ones in California. I survived and I am proud of making it through the over-indulgent luxury that Vegas can be. (And this trip could have been with the hubby's boss picking up the tab for all food and DRINKS!)
I drank water and asked for what I knew would not cause regrets. With award winning chefs in the kitchens vegan meals are much more than a plain this or that. I even found a new favorite soup; zucchini and tomatoes (fresh whole vegetables) in basil broth.
Now its back to the reality of daily living,
My FitBit team challenge, the StepBet challenge and no meals prepped for the work week. This order driven woman was ready to freak out, but then I got on the scale and the realization that I was down 2.6lbs soothed me into return to normal routine.
- walk from the train station to the office,
- get in an am break and get outside for a walk around the block,
- eat a healthy bowl of cabbage soup for lunch,
- walk back to the train station,
- go home and Start Something New
This week I will complete 2 reps of each body weight exercise. (I missed a couple of days last week, but will push through and get stronger.)
SCLP is back but in a 2x mode this week
Squat 20....Crunch 20.....Lunge 20 per leg.....Plank (modified to my ability 2 minutes)
Repeat!
