Wow! A week straight... I look back and I'm glad I finally started to make a change! It's been a HARD week, but everytime I think about squeezing in some type of excersize I get giddy!
I've been dealing with terrible pains in my knees and it's starting to stress my out because it's keeping me from even trying to run. (Yeah, that bad!) So, I still got out on lunch today and went on a "power" walk and went 3 laps. I didn't have much time, but before changing I added 30 crunches (I could not do a proper curl-up if I tried), 10 modified push-ups, and a 30 second plank! Feeling that added burn brought a little excitement back! :)
I meet with a personal trainer tommorow to learn how to use the equipment at the gym and have him teach me about some routines that'll be specifically geared towards my goals - so excited to do more! I need a routine other than run/walk/cycle. My knees need a break.. I'm coming for you core & upper body!!!
