We begin the weigh-in on November 1st, 2016.  I began my macros today.  

 

I am using the counting macros method in order to achieve the weight loss I hope to attain.  I have already seen counting macros work, and I know it's a strategy that won't fail for me if I am able to maintain it.  I have a few selfish reasons for starting this diet bet, namely that recent life stressors have caused me to lose sight of eating as healthy as I was, and I have gained about 5 lbs because of that.  I want to take those 5 lbs back off, plus maybe an additional 5 lbs.  I'm not in this to get shredded or be ridiculously thin, I just want to be at a weight that makes me feel comfortable in my own skin and feel good about myself.  More importantly, I want to eat healthy and set a good example for my daughter. 

 

I will be attempting to hit the following Macros goals for myself:

>20% carbohydrates

25-40% protien 

30-45% fats

with a caloric intake of around 1400-1600 calories per day minimum.

 

I don't care about winning the money, I hope one of my clients beats me.  But I do care about the results.  Let the games begin.
