Hello new and old DietBet friends! 


It's been around 7 months since my last blog post. I've completely fallen off the wagon since my last game finished up in July. I was doing quite well for awhile, going from 200lbs to 158lbs over a six month period. I'm currently sitting fluffy at 188.6lbs which really sucks. It's hard to see the extent of my gains and losses over the last 8 years but due to B.E.D, I go through loss and gain cycles. I've had Binge Eating Disorder since I was a child. It's hard. Having an out of control relationship with food is difficult. Eating until you're sick hurts.

 

I've been in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for about a month now. I saught help for my Depression, Anxiety and B.E.D back in May and only recently got off the waiting list. I'm still waiting to be seen my a Psychiatrist. I'm waiting for a continuous refill of Prozac 30mg which help with everything as well. I'm looking forward to being able to better manage my mental health and to losing the extra weight I have gained. My highest weight (at 5'8") was 235lbs and my lowest was 158lbs (this past May). 

 

Other than mental health shenanigans and returning to DietBet, I've also returned to college! I'm an Electrician by trade but there's a lack of work right now and I haven't been able to get hours so I'm in Business school this time. It's definitely different than what I'm used to but it's starting to grow on me. I'm really looking forward to the next six months and getting back on track.
