I started my diet on january 1st and today I already had my first cheat day. My husband and I are on a mini vacation (one night in a hotel without kids), so I decided it was ok to not be on a diet since this happens very, very seldom.
We had decided to not drink alcohol, since we had a lot of wine during the holidays. But there was a jacuzzi in the hotel room and wouldn't it be nice to have a nice glass of wine in the jacuzzi? Yes it would, we agreed :)
But after just a few glasses of wine I don"t care about calories anymore. So I had a club sandwich with fries and mayo (should have ordered the caesar salad) and a chocolate bar (which was okay) and a handful of the hotels nice caramel bon bons (should have had only 1 or 2). And of course I ended up drinking almost the whole bottle of wine alone as my husband would rather have beer. And now I am awake at 4 am because I sleep so bad after alcohol and we finally have a night without kids waking us up 2-4 times per night. Aaargh... So stupid! :)
