I had seen someone post about it before and I was at a plateau, so I figured why not!  I did some research and used a modified version of what I found.

You are supposed to eat at least 6 eggs / day, with 1 tbsp of butter (or other good fat) per egg and 1oz of cheese per egg. Up to 10 eggs per day. I did not follow this exactly. You need to eat every 3-5 hours and stop eating 3 hours before you go to sleep. You can add in non-starch veggies too - like spinach or broccoli. 100oz of water.  You can do some sort of carbless topping on the eggs.

I am doing calorie counting and found I was eating about 1400 calories per day.

I did not follow the above to a T. I could not physically eat that much butter or cheese.

I got Kerrygold butter (unsalted). I had read that the grass fed cow butter was better. There was a science behind it, but now I don't remember.

This is what I would do each day:

Breakfast - 2 eggs, 1/2 tbsp butter, 1 oz cheese (either shredded colby jack or brie)

Lunch - 2 eggs, 1/2 tbsp butter, 1 oz cheese (either shredded colby jack or brie)

Snacl - 1.5 oz brie

Dinner - 3 eggs, 1 tbsp butter, 2 oz cheese (either shredded colby or brie) and would add some steamed broccoli or spinch with it.

I was averaging about 1400 calories - 110g fat, 5g carbs, 80g protein and 120oz water

When I woke up I would drink 8oz immediately with vitamins and then 16oz with breakfast.  I use a starbucks acrylic cup and would fill it when it was empty and then drink at least 16oz with every meal.

I either did an omelet or fried eggs.  I found that I was totally NOT hungry after getting breakfast.  I would have to force myself to eat.  I would generally eat at 7am, 12pm, 3pm and then 6pm.  I would something get a twinge of hunger before bed, but that is usual.

On day 1, I weighed 197.8 (which is below my 6month goal, so I figured if it back fired, I at least wouldnt ruin the April weigh-in) and after the 3 days, I was 192.8.

I thought going carbless would be harded, but it wasnt.  The thing I missed the most was ketchup with my eggs. And at the end of day 3, I really wanted a thick steak and not eggs.

Overall, I would say it was a successful test.  Will be interested to see if I gain back those 5 lbs since I have returned to my normal eating, which is usually fairly equally spread between fat, protein and carbs.
