The only food I have a serious weakness for is NUTS!!! I LOVE THEM!!! I love cashews, almonds, pistachios, pecans, walnuts, sunflower seeds, etc. I even love peanuts (even though it's a legume)!!! Whenever I start eating them, I don't know how to stop!!! I OD on them!!! I can't even keep them in the house!!! I haven't learned how to just eat a little & leave the rest for later, but I'm working on it. I'm a work in progress. One day, I'm gonna gain control over them too!!! Baby steps........ LOL!!!

That sounds like a maintenance goal! I feel the same way about Peter Pan pb--you know, the one that tastes LESS like real peanuts and more like a surgery treat! Danger!

I feel exactly the same about potatoes......oh how I love potatoes, fried, baked, mashed, salad, soup, boiled, buttered no butter....you name I love it. There is no such thing as a bad potato!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Lord, I'm right there with you Adrienne! I could EASILY live on cheese, nuts and wine (well, and maybe an occasional glass of water! LOL!) and I've got the thighs to prove it! Much like Sandy, I have a hubby who has to have his PB but if the truth be told, that can of Fancy Mixed Nuts in the cupboard have probably been raided by me more than the hub. Once this thing begins I'm going to toss the can, there is NO WAY that I can ration or control myself with them in the house, at least not right now. Determined to set my self up for success.

I love nuts too and have learned to control my portions...Rich has to have pb and nuts and I can't begrudge him of that, he isn't watching his wt...so now I think twice before I go over my usual 1-2 T's depending on what I'm putting them on or adding them to....

I wonder if having only raw ones might temper the cravings a bit. Their taste is slightly more bland.
There is no doubt though, they are a devil in disguise. A few of them are an awesome part of any nutrition plan, but they are something I have difficulty controlling as well. I keep jars of raw nuts in the cupboard, and try to only go to them once in a while. Some days are better than others.
