So, today is day ZERO of my FIRST dietbet game; meaning that it technically starts tomorrow but since I submitted my photos today, in my mind it had to start right away!
Around 4 years ago I started my weight loss journey and since then I have managed to lose 65 lbs on my own through diet and exercise and keep it off for the past 2 years. I have had tons of mess ups over the years and lots of setbacks and do-overs, but I've been within 65-70 lbs of total weight lost for around 2 years and although I am SO PROUD of myself for getting to where I am and maintaining my losses, I'm not at my goal yet and have found it so hard to get back into the 'losing' frame of mind. Here's to trying something new & getting my body kick-started again!
I always find the first few days of deliberate healthy eating to be SO hard!!!!! When I wake up in the morning it's a breeze, but as the day goes on I find myself craving carbs and sugar SO BAD. Don't get me wrong... I'm still eating carbs and sugar... just not exactly the kinds of carbs and sugar that I'm craving (pizza, chips, candy, ice-cream, etc., etc... the 'good stuff').
Overall, I'm really excited for this experience and really looking forward to the results that I'm determined to get!!!
I told my mom and boyfriend and some of my co-workers today that I'm participating in this, so hopefully that'll help motivate me and keep me on track.
