Losing weight has been one of the biggest challenges in my life. After having a baby, 4.5 years ago, yep you read that right, I still haven't lost the "baby weight" and managed to add more weight to that. I was on the right path and managed to lose 30 pounds when I was doing a previous DietBet challenge and other changes in my life, but then stress caught up with me and BOOM, I am back at where I started, but HEAVIER!
I am starting another challenge as soon as I find one that fits my goals. It's mind over matter. We can achieve anything we wish to. We just have to have the will power and dedication towards it. My sister encouraged me to start small. For every 5 pounds I lose, I get to treat myself. We often like to treat ourselves with food, but why? A treat should be something that you don't do often enough for yourself, not food! We eat all the time.
With that being said, I CAN DO IT! 80 pounds sounds like a lot, well it is a lot, but if I focus on 5 pounds at a time, I feel like it's going to be a piece of cake, literally!
