I've done every diet in the book and, in the end pizza and social drinking wins. I thought I achieved balance a few years ago, and then I broke both ankles, tore a groin and was diagnosed with ugly arthritis. I had a horrible 60+ hour a week job and I stopped exercising altogether. Big mistake. It's been over a year since my last fracture, which I have no pain from anymore and I'm ready to get back at this. I'm tired of being fat.

Hi Amanda,It is so easy to put on weight, especially when life throws you curve balls! The important thing is to remember that it is a journey, not a race. As long as you stay committed, even when there are setbacks, you will reach your goals! Try having some health goals that are not about weight too. Like cooking with one new vegetable a week, going on a family walk at night after dinner, etc.You've got this!
I am tired of being fat also. I want a better photo of myself too! Good luck!
