I have always been super active. Recently I started roller derby. While most will assume that it's just women beating the snot out of each other in fish nets, it's not. There is a lot of strategy and it's very athletic. While I am working my @$$ off to look and feel better, I realize that it's highly important for me to lose the weight for better performance, less stress on my joints, and lower my risk of ankle injury. I am still Fresh Meat but getting closer and closer to subpool/team status and I really want to get there at a healthy weight. My Mantra for the Month? CULTIVATE GRIT.......I am going to get to my goal even if it is at a turtle's pace.
