Hi! I just entered DietBet for the first time. Yikes!
I was in great shape one year ago when I turned 50, but once I met a certain goal, I stopped working out as much and eventually stopped all togther. My weight hasn't fluctuated much, but my % of body fat has and I don't like the thought of that. I'm 50+ with two small children: 9 and 4. I need to not only be a good roll model for them, but more importantly I need to stay healthy to see them grow up. I never thought of my mortality until I turned 50 and the thought of not seeing my kids grow up scares me. I want to get back into a routine and stick with it. Crossing my fingers that this is the kickstart I need!
