So... Saw a post on FB last night about the Powell 30 day 4% loss bet/challenge. It sounded fun instantly. And I signed up instantly. 30 days? I can do this. This is good for me.
My rough plan...
- Eliminate refined sugars...or drastically reduce
- Walk my dog more - her name is Jonesy (aka The Jones, Jonesy Bonesy, J Pup, J Girl, Jonesy Girl, etc); she's 8; rescue pittie whom I adore; she will be so happy!
- I walk dogs. I am going to up the energy there. Get ready pup kids! And thankfully, I have a really full schedule coming up starting this week. So... :)
- More fruits and veggies
- Adding more fish
- Looking into a protein shake option too (have been thinking of that for weeks)
- Continuing to drink the agua - I'm big on that already. Tis humid in the Chitown area.
What else...well, that's what comes to mind immediately.
In all seriousness, I need to get my blood sugar down. So this is great timing. And that's an understatement.
