Well, I just finished my first dietbet (Lose Weight Win Money with Fitness Magazine) and I lost.  Instead of being dissapointed, I have decided to take a look at the positive aspects of this journey thus far:

  • I lost 25 lbs over the last 2 years,
  • I became a runner (and can run a half marathon),
  • I lost 5 lbs during this Dietbet,
  • I remained focused during this Dietbet in a healthy, balanced way,
  • I did not quit when I made mistakes!

 

This is a good step for me.  So, even though this battle is lost, I WILL win this war.  I have signed up for the Jillian Michaels Beginner Shred Challenge and the Transformer (Oct 7 - Apr 6).  I know where I made mistakes and how to get back onto the road of success.  I am not a quitter and accepting my imperfections is better than giving up.  I am excited to see what lies ahead and discover more about weight loss and myself in the process!
