Do you ever have one of those weeks were it seems everything goes sideways. Well it's been one of those weeks for, and stress has been on the menu. It started off with a nerve block in my neck on the 30 that got bad quick because of a medical screwup that gave me a severe allergic reaction and a trip to the er. So between that and dealing with the fallout I haven't been feeling up on working out so I was terrified to get on the scale. But I got my courage this morning and I've lost weight. So yea for not totally blowing all my hard work with stress.
The other part is Brussel sprouts. The thought of them sent terror through my blood but I'm committed to trying new things and eatting healthier. So tonight was the night. The Brussel sprout night and you know what they weren't bad. I ate more then a few and they didn't have that green taste that I hate in stuff like broccoli. I had one bad one toward the end but I would definitly eat them again. There probably not going to be my favorite but there a new veggie that I didn't eat before so yea!!
My hubby cooked them very simple just slicing them in half and then sauteed them with oil salt, pepper and a little garlic.
So what should I try next? I was thinking eggplant. Growing up my veggi selection included corn, raw carrots' and potatoes. So really limited to what I've eaten.
