Hi Dietbetters,

 

This is my second Shape-Up and I'm feeling better everyday. I'm mostly seeing changes in my body shape; loosing inches and shaping up. I get on the eliptical everyday for 45mins to one hour, and I cruise! I also play golf once a week. It's to hot to walk the course but when it cools off in Sept. this will be a part of my weekly activity.

The weight is coming off but not as quickly as I hoped for. I cut out refined sugar and eat a low carb diet. My average daily calorie intake is 1200 to 1400. My portion sizes are normal and I cut out all snacking in between and have never included sugary drinks. Water is my liquid of choice and I drink 60 to 100 oz. a day.

I've gradually changed my daily eating and exercise habits, thus resulting in feeling better and looking healthy. It takes time and patience. Don't beat yourself up if you veer of course. As it's said "Keep Calm and Move On."
