Training and Extroversion Part 1

So I'm a bit of an extrovert in the very classic sense. I don't do well by myself, either in crowds or alone at home, and I become energized by those around me.

What this means, of course, is that I require not only the affirmation of others to motivate me toward my goals, I require their presence. I workout best with other people.

In Jan., when I made the decision to achieve better fitness, I knew I was going to need a training partner. I couldn't find one. Anywhere. So, I started hiring my gym's personal trainers. They provided some new knowledge to what I already knew I needed, but what they really provided was someone present, someone who had my interests in mind, someone for whom fitness was also important, and most importantly...someone I liked being with....
