Here I am! 3 weeks ago I had my second son (the first is 3 years old), and I am greatly looking forward to getting back to running, back to the gym, and back in my favourite clothes! While I am already down 18lbs, I still have about 26lbs to go, and am anxious to get moving!
It's not often that I am inspired by people I don't know personally. I can count on one hand the number of times this has happened in my life, however Chris & Heidi Powell are two people who have inspired me recently. When I saw their "Transformation Tuesday" post about their DietBet starting today, I knew it was exactly what I needed to do to motivate myself.
I hope that while tracking my progress on Lose It! and Runkeeper, I will be able to continue dropping the pounds, but what I'm most looking forward to is getting the okay from my doctor to start running again with Zombies, Run! and rejoin the gym. That'll be at least another 3 weeks from now however, so in the meantime I will walk as much as I can, and use my small free weights at home. So that's the plan. Hopefully my body will cooperate!
