The Sept 9 Transformer just completed Round 1. This the first "high stakes" Transformer, where the monthly buy-in is $50 instead of $25. They had 128 winners in Round 1 for a pot that 172 people contributed to. That's a 74.42% win rate, much higher than the Round 1 average of 57% in the $25 games. Winners got $25.19 each. Remember that half the stake goes to the final pot, so this means that players each contributed $25 to this pot and thus only "won" $0.19. In fact, if one more person had won, they would have had 75% of the players win and thus the DietBet fee on the pot would have meant that no one got any prize money at all. Round 2 usually has fewer winners, so we'll see how this goes, but so far, my suspicions that more competitive players would participate meaning lower prizes overall is bearing out.
(Note: I write posts about the stats for all the games that are running, not just the ones I'm playing in, but my posts only appear in the feeds for my games. If you are in other games, feel free to post my blog there so people can see how they are doing. I'm currently in the June 3, Aug 12, and Oct 7 games.
