So it is officailly day #1 of the DietBet.  I have tons of excitement, motivation and energy.  But I have never had trouble the first few days.  It is the 5th day that usually gets me.  I want to stay strong this time and I think having other people doing the same thing as me, will help me get past that day 5 hump.

I have learned over the years that I am great at giving advice and cheering people on and giving them the motivation they need to succeed.  If only I could take my own advice lol  This time I am giong to try to listen to myself.  If I slip up, I won't give up.  I am going to prepare myself and plan ahead.

Some things I do to plan ahead are:

1. Make pre-bagged snacks (mini sweet peppers, almonds, cut up apples, ect.)

2. Cook some grilled chicken on a day I am free and make sure I make more than I need for just one meal.  Then I can make my own "frozen" meals and I will have no excuse.

3. Schedule my gym time on my calendar.  I live by my calendar, so if I have something scheduled, I will usually make it.

 

Hopefully doing these things will help me be ready for the hard days :)
