I am 14 weeks post partum with my first child and while I am down to my pre-pregnancy weight, I do not look or feel the same. I was a CrossFit geek until I was about 3 months pregnant (I'll blog about why I stopped later!). I include it here only to demonstrate the fact that I was lifting heavy ass weights (and enjoying it!)...I lost pounds but my muscles and strentgh went with it. I am flabby everywhere!!

My hesitation? I am a nursing mom and I am afraid of decreasing my caloric intake and it ultimately diminshes my supply. I've tried to research and sources say it is still better to keep calories up around 2k. But where do you find time to then exercise to make up for the extra calories? I am awake at 4 to nurse, back to sleep at 5, awake at 6, at work by 7:45, home around 5:15, nursing sessions and cuddle time/baths/etc until 7, bedtime routine starts and my son is usually down around 8-9...and I quickly follow. I feel like there is no time to workout.

I hope that by participating in this 'game', I will find my groove and be able to start moving weight again.

In closing, while I am hesitant I am truly excited to lose my muffin top and my pouch (had c-section!).

It is 2:30pm and I've already had 88 ounces of water :)
