So the sleepy bug hit the grimlin today after getting his 6 months shots yesterday. So between fielding texts to his mom insuring her that he was still breathing and making sure the cranky one was soothed/sleeping peacefully I started rearranging the living room.

This task was a little ambitious on a day when the little dude wasn't feeling that great and was all about the snuggles. But I had it in my head to get it done so during one of his numerous naps I started my mission. Anyone who has rearranged their living room knows there are several steps to getting things just so. Since there is also a giant fur baby in the house the first step is always de-fur/dust.

Negatives on babies and fur babies they hate vacuums. The only bonus is fur babies run and hide sadly real babies just scream. So after scrubbing down walls, blinds, and window sills and pushing all the big pieces of furniture to the center of the room I had to wait a few hours till the little big sis got home. Sure she said we would do this together but really with a 6 month old and her lack of desire to actually do stuff after she gets home it pretty much was going to be me doing it anyway. Plus I love rearranging furniture.

So after being told I had to carpet clean and that my furniture placement wasn't right, I silently ignored the annoying imput and placed the furniture how I wanted. The room now flows well, I now have more space to do workouts, there is extra play space for the grimlin, and I burned some calories. The bummer part is that my vivofit only tracks steps, so it said I wasn't active, but man handling furniture on my own definetley burned some calories. I just have no idea how many. Oh well!

Keeping it moving even in the random daily tasks.
