After my agitating run on Monday I was determined not to let it happen again. When I woke I immediately got ready but noticed it was raining. I was a little concerned about running in the rain but I didn't want to lose my momentum. Once I stop doing something I tend to keep stopping in the future. So, I really wanted to run. I also bought these new running shoes online and they arrived yesterday. I was worried that they would irritate my foot while running because I live in Korea and everything here runs to small for me.

But regardless of these things, I laced up and headed outside. I turned on my Runkeeper and ran. At first there were moments where I kept wanting to stop but I couldn't let that happen again. I gave myself little distance goals and kept acheiving them. Finally, when I hit my previous longest consecutive run spot I thought let's try and jog the whole way home.

And I did!

I ran 2.63 miles consecutively in 31 mins! Now I know that isn't an amazing time or anything but it is my first 30 minute consecutive run ever! I didn't even run like that when I was on track in middle school. For the past couple of weeks it was my goal to run consecutively for 30 mins and I have acheived it! I'm ridiculously excited and feeling really proud of myself. I feel like I have been doing so much better exercising and eating healthy recently and acheiving goals like this just keeps me wanting to go further. Woohoo!

Now I just need to work on picking up my speed and further my distance. Next goal... run 5k!
