I just had my first child and am trying to lose the baby weight as well as about 30 extra pounds that I was carrying pre-pregnancy! Boy, is my sugar addiction difficult to overcome. I seriously eat sugar, or at least crave sugar all.the.time. If I'm happy - I want sugar...sad, give me sugar....angry - sugar will fix that! Bored? Pass the peanut butter cups. Tired...well, guess I'll just eat me some twizzlers because what better to make me less tired than....sugar? Yeah, no. Anyway, it's been a life-long struggle. I've tried it all and at the end of the day the only thing that works is good old fashioned exercise, healthy eating, and LOTS of will-power. Being home with a baby all day has increased my opportunity to eat enormous amounts of carbs and, you guessed it, sugary items, so I figured this dietbet would be a good way to force...er...jump-start my journey to better health. Wish me luck, I'll need lots of it. And if it's covered in sugar, even better.

I can totally identify with you.... when I have lots of downtime is when I struggle. It sounds like you have a good outlook and you know where you you struggle. You go girl!! You can do this!
