As part of my focus, I've learned that I need to be open about who I am and what I'm about. I'm here to cut out the unhealthy habits that were established when I was younger or being an emotional eater as that is where I found my comfort given my situation as a child. Unfortunately, I carried that habit into my adult life and it has become just as unhealthy as any other addiction in life.
Being open and 100% honest will help allow me to not conceal anything or be in denial about anything pertaining to my health and this life changing journey that I'm starting on. So, here are the starting stats, my starting point so to speak. It can only get better from here if I stay focused and allow myself to keep away from the bad habits and replace those with better habits.

It's time to get my act together so I can start enjoying the things I used to love in life, like traveling, theme park rides, and just becoming a healthier individual for myself and my wife!

Identify your starting point, be true to yourself. Don't be deceiving to yourself. You are only further hurting yourself!
