When I eat more calories than I should it is because I don't have a plan. I have plenty of good food at home, but got chicken wings last night. I need to have a way to remind myself not to do that at the moment of weakness.

Having a plan is key or at least knowing what you can eat when you are out and about that will not throw you totally off for the day. Chicken wings are not that bad, if you plan for them. There is a place we go sometimes and all I get is there smoked wings, blue cheese, hot sauce to dip, some steamed broccoli, and a side of butter. I've started only eating 6 instead of 8 wings because I realize I am full at 6. And I LOVE their wings and I know they fit into my day just fine as a meal.
