I was going to try working on a new habbit change this month, but even though I am losing weight, I am having a hard time controlling portions.
I love to eat!
So rather than trying to make another change, I will watch those portions. Who knows, it may take the entire six months to get in the habit of feeling satisfied with less food. Some slogans that will help me along the way are:
- Keep Peddling the Bike and
- Enough is a Feast
It is necessary to keep peddling a bike if you expect it keep going. Likewise, it is necessary to keep doing what works to lose weight and keep it off. What works for me is portion control, but for others it may be exercising, food choices, etc. Whatever it is, keep doing it. Keep peddling the bike!
Is enough a feast? I am trying to convince myself that it is. Food does taste better when you are hungry. A treat really is a treat when it is rare. It is easy to become satiated when you overinduldge. Enough is a feast!
