I posted this recipe a couple months ago......but with Summer upon us I figured no better time to post an Ice Cream Recipe ;))
So here it is again ;))
You do need to invest in an Ice Cream Maker...... I bought the Ice Cream Bowl Attachment for my Kitchen Aid Mixer. So if you have a mixer I would suggest that one....About the same price which ever way you go. I just didn't want another gadget on my counter....lol
Chocolate Gelato / Black Bean Ice Cream
Recipe:
Measure 1/2 cup of black beans (no sodium added). Rinse them under cold water in a strainer.
Blend the following in a Magic Bullet or Blender:
1 cup Silk Brand Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
2 TBSP Walden Farms Calorie Free Pancake Syrup (or Chocolate Syrup to make it very chocolatey)
1 scoop of BSN Isoburn (Chocolate Milkshake)
1/2 cup of the rinsed black beans
~1/2 cup of water
Add this mixture to your ice cream machine (turn the machine ON before adding the mixture)
It takes about 15-20 minutes in the machine. Once it’s ready, turn off the machine and immediately remove the ice cream from the ice cream bowl.
You can change the ingredience to your preferred brands...... For the nutritional info I posted the ones used for this recipe.
