Hello all! I'm pretty excited to start up with Diet Bet and have high hopes for the Heidi and Chris Powell challenge that started yesterday, 7/22.
My goal is over 6 pounds to lose. I'm by no means large, or small, but I always like to stay on the slimmer side if possible.
6 pounds is A LOT for me to lose in a month. I don't think I've ever done that before. I also have one big challenge to my weight loss: my knee. It has been injured since last September, I've gone through PT, and I think the next step is surgery. It limits my lifting and my cardio abilities for sure, especially since I used to LOVE running.
Yesterday involved the following meals:
Breakfast: 2 eggs, bread, 1/2 avocado, cheese slice
Lunch: Meatless salad with light champagne dressing from Trader Joe's, strawberries, sunflower seeds, bleu cheese, and more avocado!
Snack: Apple, black coffee
Dinner: 2 Korean BBQ Pork Tacos. I knew I would be eating out so I planned accordingly.
Caloric Total: 1450
Macros (C/F/P): 33/46/21
My macros were too high in Fat, too low in protein. I'm aiming for a 45/30/25 split. Calories were on point!
Accomplishment of the Day: Switching back to black coffee. I had been drinking cream/splenda for a few months and knew I needed to stop!
