Well, kiddos. WE have made it to week two.
Setting the habits that I hope we can all tweek and make it a lifetime movement. Have I mentioned I think you are all pretty dang dynomite! Well. YOU are!
I am determind to become the athlete that I am in my mind. Truly bring that to fruition.
What are some of your new healthy habits?
oh, Mine, you ask...
well.
*Water. That dang jerk of a liquid. My goal is 100 oz a day. I have been doing 40 to 60 on average. I willl get there. I can't stop peeing! I run a coffee shop--makes it very hard to drink water when there are so many other tasty options. However, the last two days I have enjoyed the water. Go figure.
*A true believer of calories in need to be less than calories out. So. I am back to running/walking and elliptical. I do a lot of 5k races--to complete. Not compete. Time to change that. I have set a goal of five 5ks in 2015 and two 10ks. I can do this! (So can you!)
*Food as a reward. No lectures. Please. I say what ever works, works. If a treat motivates me to get out and move my tail, then so be it.
*One I really need to start doing...IS being more forgiving when I screw up/overindulge/don't get my butt in gear. I can fall into the well, screw this mentality. Every day is a new day. AND sometimes we just need a crap day. We do. Does anyone else here work a high stress job?? (raises hand!)
