So, I did an informal version of Diet Bet a month ago and found that having money in the balance is really motivating for me. But, I am backsliding on my healthy habits that I worked so hard to create which is why I joined Diet Bet to get the momentum (in the right direction) going again.
My current plan for this Diet Bet is to eat a Whole Food Plant Based Diet with limited (once a week) Meat. I use My Fitness Pal to track my food and Fit Bit to help track exercise.
Since I have a dog, walking her every day is very important for both her and me. I also want to start Skipping rope again, I used to do this and I find that it is really great exercise.
My goal is 4% this time around, which means that I have approximately 10 pounds to shed with Thanksgiving right around the corner. 10 pounds, that is not very much that means that in 4 weeks, I only have to shed 2.6 pounds a week. Should be totally doable.
For Thanksgiving well, I think that even with that high calorie meal if I go right back onto my plan after I will be fine.
I am so excited to get this diet bet started, can't wait.
